This CAD assembly was made in the fall of 2018, when I collaborated with two other students to create and present my first-ever engineering project. Our only criterion for this project was that it needed to use a cam and shaft in some way. So, we decided to build a coin-snatcher toy for its simplicity. We first modelled it with CAD, and then 3D printed each component. We then used glue and other adhesives to attach each component together. Finally, we presented the project to the class.
